Following on from our AGM yesterday evening, with thanks to those who attended last night, we are asking our members to confirm their intentions to play next season at Fenton’s Rink. We are requesting that these registration forms are returned by next Friday July 24th so that we have an indication of the likely number of curlers who would like to play from October.
We are not looking to collect any league/membership fees at this point.
This early indication is to help us and the rink plan and prepare for a season that will likely require some different guidelines with the current Covid situation.
With this backdrop, we have provisionally booked less ice this season, so that we do not over commit until we have a gauge from our members as to whether they are prepared to return to the rink for the start of the season. If we are met with overwhelming demand, then we will increase the bookings to cater for the extra players. We are asking for the forms to be returned next Friday to give the SECC and the rink to determine how we can best run the proposed sessions and adhere to the guidelines at the time.
